    Environmental Concerns

His work in government and development have led him to a strong interest in environmental law. "The issues on the cutting edge involve balancing the public interest in a clean environment with the private interests of property owners. There are no easy solutions, and the law is changing rapidly in response to public pressure." He coordinated the "Survival in Today's Wetlands Climate" seminar sponsored by the firm.

    Municipal Interest

Anthony's experience in municipal law includes his position as Attorney for the Town of Irondequoit. In addition, he has served as special counsel to numerous urban renewal agencies, towns, villages and counties in the upstate New York region, providing legal services in the areas of condemnation, tax certiorari proceedings, consultation for development of municipal airport and matters involving urban renewal, zoning and planning. A partial list of Anthony's community service activities includes: service as chairman of the Town of Irondequoit Ethics Board, membership on the town's Solid Waste Management Commission, service as treasurer and member of the Irondequoit Rotary Club and as a board member of the Irondequoit Council of Greater Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce, as its President for 1995 & 1996, and presently as its Second Vice President.

A lifelong Rochester resident and graduate of Aquinas Institute, Anthony is the father of four. He enjoys powerboating, aerobic walking, gourmet cooking, jazz and classical music, and photography.
